What is LED lighting?.
At its most basic, LED stands for Light Emitting Diode. LED lights are much more efficient than traditional incandescent lights and have a much longer lifespan. Their small size and relatively cooler operating temperature means that it can be used in shapes and forms that would have been impossible to light with traditional bulbs.
What are the benefits of upgrading LED lighting?

LEDs are well known for their efficiency but they have other characteristics that make them a more environmentally friendly choice.
– An immediate reduction in your electricity bill
– The lower wattage in LEDs reduce your company’s carbon footprint by decreasing carbon dioxide emissions.
– Since LED lights last up to 15 years, bulbs need to be replaced less often. This leads to fewer bulbs being thrown away.
– No harmful materials are used in the construction of LED lights. Unlike regular bulbs that contain mercury, LED lights contain no harmful chemicals.
– LEDs are made of recyclable materials and can be taken to special collection points. Parts can then be re-used or recycled.

I want to replace all the lights in my home or business. What types of light are available in LED?
Virtually every type of light, be it incandescent, halogen or CFL, is available as a LED light.
My fluorescent tubes take some time to light up. Is this the case with LED lights?
No, LED lights have an instant strike. That means they will light up as soon as you turn on the light switch.
How long with my LED Light last?

LED lights last up to 8 times longer than incandescent lights. You can expect at least 30,000 hours of use from your LED light, making it a more environment friendly choice as well as a more cost effective product.
